Mooncakes from Meritus Mandarin

Found more mooncakes around my place today.

From Meritus Mandarin...



They call it the Shanghai Yam Moonpie. They are to be kept refridgerated. I tried a bite, not too sweet but didn't find it anything really special.

This other box is from Pine Court (chinese restaurant of Meritus Mandarin)....



Its called golden ingots with egg yolk. This is probably one of the best mooncake i've had throughout this whole season. The crust was really nice and the filling was just right. Even the egg yolk felt right (although i generally dun like egg yolks in my mooncake). Best of all, its in a cutesy ingot shape.
