Founder Bak Kut Teh
Edwin and Lea came to pick me up from work and Edwin brought us to Founder Bak Kut Teh!
i've heard so much about this bak kut teh from forums but never knew where it is exactly (its somewhere near balestier).. so i was really excited when Edwin brought us there.
check out their wall of fame... lotsa celebrity pics....
we had the you tiao...
it went really well with the soup!
the preserved vegetable.....
which was quite good... lea loves it!
the lean meat pork trotters....
yummy! all meat, no fats!
the bak kut teh...
the soup was pretty good. the bak kut wasnt the long long type wif just one long bone though. i wonder if we can request for it.

Hao You Ji Kuai Can (Genting)
We headed to Hao You Ji Kuai Can for supper while waiting for them.
dar ordered some meat noodles. she opted for lao shu fen....
this item is really good. really tasty and went very well wif lao shu fen.
and i was initially not intending to eat but i saw bak kut teh! and feeling unsatisfied wif the earlier bak kut teh, i ordered as well...
this bak kut teh has slightly more flavour den the one this afternoon but i find it too sweet.
Andy had the wanton noodles....
the noodles were really soft yet springy. the wanton wasnt really good though.

Because i kept whining that i want bak kut teh from KL ... and because this is the only bak kut teh stall that Andy koes, we ended up at this bak kut teh stall near Times Square and Sungei Wang....

the soup was not very strong in taste. Its not wat i expected. It was still drinkable though. But loh gong zai and fishtank thinks it fails. haha
