Yong Heng Restaurant

119 Aljunied Crescent.

Yong Heng Restaurant (its actually just a kopitiam)...

the kopitiam...

while placing our orders, we noticed this shop ....

Rafiq's Corner... and they sell Apple Rice Chang!!

Just as ah yee, uncle sq and myself were 'fascinating' over the apple bak chang, jim poh told us that they've already closed down. hahahahahahaa..

our orders... Prawn Paste Chicken....

The prawn paste was quite mild but the chicken was rather crispy.

Tapioca leaves with chilli....

not bad.

Hot plate venison meat....

Tasted ok. The venison wasnt very tender but was alright.

Salted fish with bean sprouts...

the salted fish looked like they were there just for garnishing. But overall taste was ok.

Steamed promfet...

came with quite a bit of 'soup'.

and we ordered a mini steamboat (only $4.50!)

inside there was fried fish slice, some vege and yam etc (clammy, got this feeling u'll like this!!)

Overall, the meal came up to $51. Really cheap. There were 6 of us.
