we chanced upon this Max's restaurant...
i was lured in by the yummy looking pictures of their food.
sadly, when i was ready to order my foie gras, my polenta beef etc...
ALL NOT AVAILABLE!!
i feel cheated! hahaha
but we did order their other stuff which proved to be pretty good!!

beef stew...
the beef stew was great! the stew was tasty and the beef was nice in texture as well. i also like their potatoes!
ah yee ordered a chicken chop rice...
which was also good! although when it first arrived, ah yee said.. " 它可以再油一点 " hahahhaa.. coz it looked very oily.
and there was also the pork chop with mashed potatoes....
ITS SO GOOD! the pork was so bouncy yet tender! the cream sauce was oooo la la! the mashed potato was also nicely textured!
im missing it!
and carbonara...
also pretty good carbonara!
dinner was great!
oh and most importantly, they offered free wifi!
