and as we ordered and i mentioned i want the lobster bisque, she commented.. " i know, that is your favourite soup " WAH! haha.. she even knows that. To be honest, i doubt many of my friends even know that.
yes yes, i love lobster bisque. in fact i think the very first time i tried lobster bisque was actually from Jack's Place when i was still a kiddo. their lobster bisque has this very strong prawn-ish taste which i like. and it was thick. and when i was really young, the lobster bisque was not common found elsewhere. over the years, Jack's place lobster bisque still pretty much managed to maintain its standards.
Yunqi went for the cod fish..
it was pretty good i would say and it was a big portion of fish.
actually i wonder why it took me so long to revisit jack's place again. their food is not too bad n relatively reasonable pricing i'd say.
as for me, i went for the fish n steak combo...
reasonable quality food. i love their baked potato.
we topped up the meal and had a free dessert which we shared the brownie.
the brownie was not too bad either.
