Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge

Was thinking about where i can go to get a sit and a drink while waiting for liping until i saw.....

Without a doubt, this was the place!

Joel had told me about this place previously so i've been wanting to come here.

the interior of the place...

as you can probably see or have already guessed, the whole ambience of this place is of the classy, very suitable for tai-tais kind. ha.. (i can hear many of my girl friends going... we like~) hahaha.. yes yes my darlings, we MUST come back here.. the tea here is so good!

their menu....

i ordered a high tea set ($19.90).. comes wif a pot of either coffee or tea, 2 open sandwiches and choice of 2 cakes.

my pot of tea......

its fine quality tea served in exquisite hand painted Royal Copenhagen porcelains that are exclusively created for the Danish Royal Family... lea.. u tempted already?

the sugar and milk.....

the sugar and milk again...

the open sandwiches....

a closer up view.....

one's shrimps and cavier (i think) and the other is smoked salmon wif scrambled eggs. Both were pretty good. Not exceptional but good.

for the choice of cakes, i chose the green tea cake and the baked cheesecake...

the baked cheesecake was great! really good and the bottom was not made from biscuits but rather it was a layer of almond bits. Mmmmm...

the green tea cake didnt go well for me though...

it was pretty hard and the taste was not strong. didnt like it.

They had magazines by the side free for view....

Great since liping only arrived like an hour later. haha

Service was also great. Staffs were polite and smiley.. a good experience.. i wana go back!
