Hilton Hotel

Xiaobei's wedding at Hilton Hotel.

The menu for today....

The first dish included:
- Poached Chicken with Cinnamon Spices
- Marinated Jellyfish with Homemade Spicy Sauce
- Deep-Fried Chive Spring Rolls with Sweet Chilli Dip
- Crispy Meat Roll Stuffed with Chestnut and Mushroom
- Glazed Prawns On Iceberg Lettuce with Wasabi Mayonnaise

the the dishes were pretty alright.

Braised Shark's Fin Soup with Crabmeat...

the sharkfins wasnt particularly good but it was alright. we kinda found the vinegar tasting a little funny.

Boneless Duck Stuffed with Eight Treasures & Oyster Sauce...

The duck was pretty nice. tender and juicy.

Hilton's Special "Capital" Pork Ribs

the pork ribs was really nice. tender and almost boneless. not too sweet but tasty.

Steamed Garoupa with Ginger & Scallions served with Light Soya Sauce & Glazed with Gragrant Oil

fish was not bad as well... fresh!

Braised Shitake Mushroom with Oyster Sauce on Chinese Spinach..

Wasnt in the mood for mushrooms so i skipped the mushrooms but the chinese spinach was nice.. soft!

Golden Strands of Ee-fu Noodles Braised with Yellow Chives....

usually i'd give the noodles a miss but their noodles were pretty good. taste was good.

last but nt least, the dessert was Traditional Sweetened Yam Mousse with Baked Pumpkins and Ginko Nuts...

the yam paste was probably cooked and mashed up together wif the pumpkin hence explaining the colour. it was very thick... not my kind of yam paste i'd say.
