Italian - Ristorante de Valentino

Valentino is located at Jalan Bingka (along Rifle Range Road)....

Valentino....

Elyn recommended the place and lil bee heard rave reviews of the place from his friends.

The following will be pics of the interior of the restaurant.....

And notice how despite being a weekday, its still very packed....

Their menu....

Their service staff were excellent. They were all very friendly, polite, nice and they know their product really well.

We were first served bread with small bowl of a certain spread....

Its abit sour, the olive oil kinda spread dats really nice.

For drinks, i had the hazelnut soda...

din quite like it though.

Lil bee had white wine....

the white wine was pretty good.

We ordered a soup to share....

this is a tomato based seafood soup. Yummy!

and for starters, we ordered a special.. some mushroom special dat i din quite get the name ....

The mushrooms tasted SO SO FRESH! Its a very unique way of eating and i really like it!

For mains, lil bee ordered one of their specialty which is their black ink pasta with crab meat sauce.. it was OH SO SO SO GOOD!

coz i was busy taking pics of his food and my food, lil bee was digging in and he was looking at me saying....

" i'm in heaven already.. u havent start? " hahahaha.. its his way of saying that the food is so darn good!

I ordered a tenderloin in cheese sauce. Initially i thot the tenderloin might be a very small piece of beef... i never never knew it would be........

Yes! can u see how thick that piece of steak is? Its probably much much thicker den any other steak i had..

check out the doneness....

Simply wonderful! Also, the cheese was the very strong cheese which some people might not like it but i happen to LOVE IT! I was so happy and excited with my mains. Of coz, also wif lil bee's mains!

And i tell u how agonising it was for me while i was dining.. coz their dessert cart was placed right behind lil bee....

and i was all eager wanting to koe what they haf to offer... haha...

Their dessert cart....

Check out the varieties of their dessert.. some pies, tarts and panna cotta, caramel custard...

and some more....

in the end, upon the recommendation of a server, lil bee who had initially said he din want dessert, ordered a tiramisu....

Its really good!

I was recommended a chocolate ice cream thingy dat came with burning flames!

Darn cool! and the ice cream seemed to feel much colder den compared to any other ice cream!

It was truly truly a delightful dinner! Makes me so wana go back there for more meals.

Food was heavenly and service was excellent! I totally enjoyed myself!
