Greenwood Fish Market

My birthday dinner with Jeffrey. We headed over to Greenwood Fish Market...

the bistro seemed to have gone through some kind of a renov or its expanded its wing. the place just looks different.

first, i die die HAD to have their oysters! they are soooooo good! i rem the last time round i was here wif uncle sq and ah yee, it was so good uncle sq said he can literally taste the freshness of the sea water!

today's oysters were just as good...

these are some of their specials....

i'd wana be back soon for their lobsters n oysters night!

we also shared a seafood chowder....

its pretty good. very tasty.

Jeffrey also ordered half a dozen of escargots set...

a closer up view...

mmmm.. was yum yum!

for mains, i had a lobster linguine....

its in some kinda vongole sauce. while it was fine, it wasnt superb. or maybe the whole lobster that some others were eating at the table beside just simply looked too good dat i didnt find mine nice.

jeffrey wanted something simple so he went for the fish and chips....

was not bad but again, not wow-ing in our view.

for desserts, jeffrey had his usual creme brulee...

was served chilled. was ok but not wowing.

i went for the brownie....

which was... a bit sticky, a bit chewy... again... hmm.. just mediocre.

thank cute for the treat!
