From the outside, i couldnt quite make out if it was a thai, japanese or chinese restaurant. the place looks like it was revamped from an old colonial house.. very much reminds me of the little nyona show on channel 8 these days....

one of the rooms.... this room upon entering reminds me of the shanghai tang era. like it can be used in one of the scenes from 2046 or 色戒. haha... the high ceiling made the whole place feel really spacious and comfortable to dine in....
what was most attractive was how it overlooks the sea. i couldnt walk out as it was pouring that day so i could only capture shots from within...

tried 2 of their dishes. one is their specialty butter squid....
a wonderful quick fix for my recent cravings for salted egg prawns. its very similar to salted egg dishes except it doesnt have the powdery texture. Yet it is very good on its own. the squid is soft and chewy and the sauce is so good! doesnt even get gerlard.
another item i tried is their promotion item.. $1 Olive rice!! Yes, u got it right, ONLY $1! and it tastes good!
the olive rice came wif raisins! and on the side is this green strips vegetables dat i duno the name but its a thai greens.. a bit sour but really good. usually comes wif thai olive rice.. and with onions, i like it! and instead of the typical haybe, they have it wif a meat sauce which the meat sauce is also really good. i like the texture of the minced meat and it goes really well with the rice.
i think its a great place to bring the family for dinner.
