christian brought to my attention that the red plate prices at sakae has dropped in pricing.. from.. is it $6.90? to $4.90. But that's also along with a reduction in quantity (check out the salmon sashimi at the top left).
it was a rather small dinner, he had the salmon sashimi and unagi roll while i had lobster salad and garlic rice.
the lobster salad had this mild wasabi taste inside which i didnt like but aside from that, tasted pretty ok.
i had to order the garlic rice because i vaguely remember icy and someone else (whom i can't remember who) told me before that their garlic rice is one of the best around... somehow, i wasnt impressed. I mean, it was ok but just not impressed.
