The Rotisserie

fishy and i arranged to meet up with shuping for lunch. we decided to check out Rotisserie beside OCBC HQ.

while i really liked the food here, i really dislike the bad service here.

for starters, if you want a certain 'innovative' ordering process, make it clear and make it easy for your patrons. Think along the likes of Subway or Marche. Subway has clear signs to explain the ordering process while Marche when it started would explain to patrons how they use the card.

but over here, the chicken / mains are on one side while the ordering and paying is on the other side. and for mains you generally get a choice of 2 sides (or so i recall) which it can be a 'hot' sides or a 'cold' sides.. as in it can be either a salad or a side or something i think (you see, its not clear). And there will be a variety of choice for the salads and the sides (which you will not know until you head over to collect). But if you chose salad, you cannot opt for side later although its the same price. Silly right?

and its fine if you are only just messy. but no, they are messy and RUDE. they snap at you when you cant decide and attempt to scold you when you choose wrongly.

the chicken....

the sides... choice of mashed, corn, mac and cheese, peas etc...

pork knuckles...

we shared half a roast chicken...

and pork knuckle...

and fishy ordered a burger...

the food was good. the chicken was tender and the knuckle was really crispy on the outside and the meat was tender and juicy too.

catching up over lunch...
