Liang Kee Restaurant
it's daddy's birthday today! Made reservations at Liang Kee for dinner...
been hearing the Hyflux babes speak much about this place but havent been here myself.
cold crab....
yummy! i love the roe!
and they have a SUPER FABULOUS braised duck!! so is their braised pork! and braised beancurd. SUPERB!!
as im blogging it, im missing the braised duck!!
its tender and the sauce is just superb!!
home made tofu...
the tofu was also pretty good!
steamed promfret...
the mere sight of it already tells me its good! haha.. i pretty like promfret! its quite expensive though.. i think its around $50.
and i really really like their oyster omelette!!
the egg is fluffy while the oysters are HUGE!! yummy!
fried kang kong...
and dessert was the famous teochew dessert - yam paste...

Cold crab? Hmmmmm ... gotta take a trip here someday to try it to see if I'll like it. Think I'm more used to the hot cooked varieties :D
