Jade

Lionel told me about the dim sum buffet at Fullerton hotel. He told me about it about a month plus 2 back. Told me that's how long it takes to get reservations so we waited.

Jade...

since its buffet and there are so many items, i'm just gona show the pics and highlight the special items.

the soups...

the soup were all generally pretty good. tasty and all.

the har gao was very mediocre...

some of their special dumplings... like this crab meat one...

it just looks special coz its in pink but i mainly tasted only prawns. n the prawns are not the super succulent ones in my view.

squid ink dumpling...

also nothing special in my view.

the mini abalone siew mai...

this was quite special with the mini cutesy abalones on the top! norman's fav if i didnt recall wrongly.

some green dumpling...

sharkfins dumpling...

i like the fins on the top but again, the prawns were not those of the very crunchy and succulent texture so it was just mediocre to me

xiao long bao..

chicken feet...

pork ribs...

some spicy dumplings...

the spicy dumplings is really good. the sauce.. was some vinegar or sesame taste like ones. YUM!

char siew bao which was pretty good too....

beef hor fun...

deep fried beancurd skin ...

spring rolls....

which turned round and round and no one would eat them. haha.. boring stuff. (Norman teased on fb to ask if there was a 'dislike' click instead of the usual 'like' option on photos when i posted it on! hilarious!)

this is some cheese dumpling dats damn nice....

the inside of it...

its good! the cheese reminds me kind of of pizza hut's stuffed crust pizza but its much nicer. the pastry on the outside is kinda slightly sweet. its just so yum!

some dim sum dat i didnt try...

guo tie which i didnt try either...

the yam paste thingy which i ALMOST didnt try...

but once i tried, i couldnt stop. its so freaking GOOD!

its got mushrooms and truffle oil inside. the yam is a very thin layer and the exterior is crispy. so darn good! i had almost 3 of this! its soooooo good!

fried wanton...

beef balls...

beef brisket...

smoked tea leaves roll....

fried fish...

wasabi prawns...

spicy chicken...

stewed beancurd...

and the super nice salt and pepper beancurd!!

LOVE LOVE the salt n pepper combo!

the pretty good char siew...

porridge - century egg and scallop...

and all the above for the prices of $28 per adult only!

the rest mainly complained over the fact that there was no egg tarts or chee cheong fan. its worth a try i'd say coz its not super expensive.
