sunantha had the rustic bacon and peas soup.
my mushroom soup was ok but did not wow like the last 2 times. it was supposed to be very very good but today's one seemed to be.. just good?
the rustic bacon and peas soup was.... not our kind of nice. as a result, we didnt finish it. it was like some kinda mixed soup, no strong peas or bacon taste.
Service was excellent though.. upon seeing that we couldnt finish the soup, the server very politely came to ask us if there was something wrong with the soup. but we were too paiseh to say especially since they were so nice and polite. and they kept promptly refilling our iced water! plus points!
since i tried a bit of their paris ham crepe the last time when uncle sq ordered, i went for the ham and mushroom crepe today...
i like the presentation, all the greens at the side and the very thin crepe. its pretty good.
sunantha went for the bolognese baked rice...
which was pretty good as well. the rice is very wet and soft (i like my rice dat way). the bolognese sauce was also quite tasty.
our desserts...
the strawberry shortcake is great wif moisture locked in again. sunantha ordered the rose ice cream wif lychee... oh so good! not overly sweet also.
the macroons were also nice especially the salty caramel.
