Bosses

Went to check out Vivo again.

First stop, Bosses!

Vivo City #02-156/157
63769740

After reading a review on that place, that picture of that custard bun never left my mind. I just had to try it!

and i think the name and whole concept of the place is so cool!

The entrance of the restaurant...

some pics of the interior.....

and check out the view!

they've got menu chained to the different corners of the table...

even their towels were in very cool packagings....

totally reminds me of those HK secret society! haha

and they haf this device on every table....

its pretty obvious how to use it eh? instead of going thru the usual frantic waving of hands or going *excuse me excuse me EXCUSE ME* just to get the attention of the whole restaurant but the the servers (ok, exaggerating a bit), this device really does come in handy!

I ordered a Kiss Me Not ($6.50)

Its consists of red apple, apricot, peach juice, cinnamon and jasmine tea. Its pretty much tastes like wat u hear it includes. Not bad considering i like red apples! But i think during my next visit i'd wana order their hot tea.. they seem to haf quite a good variety but i just felt that it would be a better order if i shared the whole pot wif someone(s).

i also had a scallop goldfish dumpling ($5)...

as the name suggests, the dumpling came in the shape of goldfish! (i likeeeee) Its pretty much our usual har kao wif scallops replacing the prawns. not bad.

and the shanghai xiao long bao ($6)...

nice! i think in comparison, its slightly better den the Koo Kee ones i had yesterday. I noticed the menu had this green tea xiao long bao. if i ever revisit, dat would be someting i'd wana try!

and finally, last but not least, wat i came here for....

its actually called their signature golden flowy custard bun ($4.80). the inside is like.. hmm.. you know what's nai huang bao? The normal yellow custard bun? inside of the paste form of custard, this is in fluid form and wif a noticeable trace of salted egg yolk. Its not bad though i had imagined it better from the pics. But overall still worth a try i'd say!
