arranged to meet up with ah mah pig and miss piggy and slight psycho-ing on my part got to agree to meet at Jones instead of any random place at 313...




shared a roasted pigeon with goat cheese salad...



the roast pigeon wasnt great.

potato soup of the day...



started of the scallops wrapped in parma ham...



the scallops were really good. but still cant make out what that buttom yellow ring of thingy was. it wasnt potato.

ah mah had the yummy mushroom risotto...



its really yummy because its oozing with truffle taste. Yum yum!

ms piggy and i had a bleu cheese burger each...



OFFICALLY NOW MY FAVOURITE BURGER! if only it can be bigger!! with the bleu cheese oozing out!!





and also introduced to them the red velvet cake...



they love it!

Crystal Jade Korean Ginseng Chicken & BBQ

sherlyn's team team dinner. after the previous time at Chef Daniel's and the boys complained they jiak buay ba, i suggested crystal jade's korean bbq and the boys were very happy and in fact, excited.

crystal jade's korean bbq is actually quite good. they have a good variety of cooked dishes and very fresh stuff for the bbq. like their squid and their fish. very yummy and pretty worth the amount!

Blanco Court Fish Soup

went for an appointment around keypoint and leelin, joelle and mitchelle agreed to come around the area to meet me for lunch. they directed me to this corner coffeeshop along beach road area. apparently, its a famous for fish soup place...



its the former blanco court fish soup! queue during lunch can be quite long...





their fish soup is famous for the fried egg that comes with it...



overall it was fine. i like the fried egg thingy in the soup. according to leelin n joelle, standards have dropped a little compared to the past.

Coffee Club

after the movie, we went for drinks at coffee club.

my iced earl vanilla...



and we shared a royale tiramisu (if i remember correctly, thats the name)...



was a lil skeptical initially but it turned out pretty good! definitely not the usual tiramisu. in fact, its completely not like the usual tiramisu. more like vanilla ice cream with almond nuts. but i like it.

Dinner with Robing at The Ship ...



Robing went for the set dinner which came with soup of the day and dessert.

their prime rib was GOOD. and it was only $38. comparing the quantity to hogs breath and lawrys, its damn worth it. im so coming back here.




dessert was lemon mousse...



which from Robing's look, it wasnt fantastic, just edible. haha

Buffet Town

scheduled to meet dear dear today to celebrate her birthday. had prego in mind but didnt manage to get reservations. food for thought refused to pick up their calls so we adjourned to Buffet Town at Raffles City..



formerly where shokudo used to be. no major change in settings or decor just that it has now become a buffet place.

they do have a huge variety of food which makes it really value for money.

their oysters are damn fresh!!

theres also roast wagyu beef...





which was pretty nicely done if u ask me!



they also have local food like laksa and rojak etc...



didnt try the rojak but the laksa is good.

and there was also teppanyaki..

and they did have a lot of other food which i was too lazy to take pictures of the desserts were not bad either.

i think the dinner was around 38.80 plus plus. pretty reasonable pricing considering the variety of food they offered. Oh, not forgetting, drinks inclusive!

Graffiti Cafe

we arranged to meet melissa for lunch and decided to head over to far east plaza for lea's favourite wanton mee. the pontian wanton mee...



their wanton may be small but i really like their fillings. its really tasty. i had the soup and the girls ordered their fried wanton to share.



their noodles...

Warung Lele

its the lions babes monthly gathering. Lusi chose the venue warung lele located at temasek towers...



the menu was very wordy and full of different sets etc. i dun like menus like that. feels messy to me so we let lusi do the ordering.

it cost around $12 per person and free flow food! very worth the money and it was quite yummy!

the ox tail soup..



the soup was savoury and the oxtail was meaty. yummy!

the curry was good too!



some seafood curry.

and the stir fried vegetables..



some chicken..



the chicken was just ok.

the fried beancurd was really good!



satay was not bad either...



and their catfish was good too...
