after work, met up with the lions babes for dinner at Chef Daniel's Kitchen at the rooftop of Illuma...
i wanted to order their foie gras starter but was told it was not available and the server recommended i try their foie gras with bak zhang instead. he said its more worth it and that it has good reviews. so i took his recommendation...
the foie gras was a nice decent portion and for its price, i think its one of the most reasonably priced foie gras around. the bak zhang was really good!
the rice is textured with black rice (not sure if thats what its called... or is this called 5 grain, not sure) but the mixture made the texture really good. the fillings are also really yummy!!
3 of us shared the pork ribs...
it was huge and not bad. meat was tender. i didnt try the skin as i usually would avoid that but the girls said it was good. i actually also like the vegetables that came with it.
we also shared a cream sauced mushroom pasta..
which was not bad.
the rest were ordered by the other girls but they did say the food was not bad.. the other items portion was a bit small.. our pasta n braised pork knuckle was more decent.
they shared the desserts...
their desserts were yummy!!!
