Takaya

lunch, my best friend came to my rescue, asking me out for lunch. we wanted to head to the miss clarity cafe @ thomson but when we headed down, realised its closed! argh.. so we ended up at this japanese restaurant located opposite called Takaya....



the restaurant was really quiet and from the lack of variety in the menu and all, we were telling ourselves not to hold our expectations too high. haha..

we shared a yakitori....




those express ones everywhere tastes better.

pretty good. crispy skin and tender meat.

Jo's katsu don wif extra egg and onion...



Jo feels its one of the nicer item for lunch today.

i had the char siew ramen...



tastes like a mild version of bak kut teh. haha... i found it ok, not fantastic but ok, edible. Jo keeps saying its horrible.

the meal came up to ard $25.
