Kbox

Kdinner at Marine Parade Kbox. I arrived first at 7 pm. .. it actually starts around 6 pm i think. ends at 10 pm. Costs ard $23+++ per person.

The buffet area...

its got those chilled prawns, mussels and scallops area....

Salad area....

sashimi...

The savoury food....

The sashimi i took...

sushi....

sharks fins soup...

tempura....

The fried salmon skin was especially crispy!

dim sum....

some of our servings....

Desserts....

Generally the food was all of a pretty good standard in terms of freshness, taste and variety. for the price with ktv included, i'd say its very very worth it. I mean, the spread they offer (oysters, chicken, duck, beef, prawns, etc etc), it looks close to those buffet spread i'd say.

They even haf that ichigo strawberry with ice cream thingy, some rather special mochi cake for dessert! Sashimi was really fresh. I'd love to go back there again. Seafoodies, wat say u? lol

Mix

Lunch was at Mix (basement 1 of Raffles City).....

The sitting area....

i had a hail caesar and the zone.....

hail caesar is like a wrap, kinda recommended by lea.....

overall the fillings are rather tasty although i'd prefer it if its a stronger caesar sauce... i guess its the healthier way of having caesar. heh... but the skin at certain part gets really thick so that doesnt go very well on me.. i basically finished the fillings w/o the wrap.. haha. Overall its pretty ok though. Costs $7.90 so its not exactly cheap.

the zone consists of some slimming booze (i think) and some energy boozer (exactly wat i need for the day!) and its got strawberries and pineapple and i cant remember wat. Its really good! Love it! Costs $6.50 for the wee size. wee means the smallest size.

I think this place is the kinda healthy living place offering food for the soul....

Also ordered a crepe to go. Its called the bacon and egg flap....

costs $5.80. tastes alright to me coz im not particularly a bacon person. maybe keith will love it. haha

Kelong Seafood & BBQ

Dinner at Holland Village's Kelong Seafood. I was feeling really bloated so i didnt eat.

They ordered chicken wings...

Meina said the chicken wings are very nice.

and some other dishes they ordered.....

Overall, everyone said the dishes were ok but nothing fantastic and apparently quite pricey.

Jules made a very funny comment... he said... " this place got home made barley, home made chrysanthemum... even award also got home made one.. "

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

Mix

Saw Mix at the Basement of Raffles City. Lea had previously mentioned this place to me.....

the counter....

The wraps....

Lea had told me one of their caesar wrap is very good. And check out the different colours they haf for the wraps! So tempted to try!! Will keep them in mind!

i got a Strawberry Nirvana. Costs $5.90. It includes strawberry, banana, mango, apple and low-fat yoghurt....

tastes alright. I guess im not really a banana person so i would haf prefered it if i didnt pick one which included banana.

Cafe Vic

Lunch was at Cafe Vic again. Free lunch again!

The sushi and oyster that Yong Yeow took...

The capsicium and tomato soup dat Akram got for me....

didnt go well on me coz i dun like the taste of capsicium.

the fish, lemon chicken and smoked salmon that was also available yesterday....

den i realised i missed out a section yesterday. Wat a waste! There was beef!

and sausages which Yong Yeow liked. The beef was great!

There was also wanton mee which Yong Yeow and i shared.. but hehe.. he finished the whole bowl while i only had a wanton and the soup....

Kyotosabo Ajiteh

Dinner with Lionel at Kyotosabo Ajiteh...

the entrance...

i was still feeling really full from the lunch and high tea, Lionel did most of the ordering.

I had a peach soda...

which was pretty good!

Lionel ordered the cheese prawn dumpling....

not lousy but not nice! I tried one and made Lionel finish the rest. It was small and pretty dry.

Some white cream sauce fish....

this one is pretty nice. the cream sauce is flavoursome and fish was pretty tender.

next was the sliced pork and cabbage with egg omelette....

it looks big coz its filled with cabbage inside....

the bacon and asparagus roll....

i kinda found the one from Yaki Tori better.

Shisamo....

also didnt appeal to me so Lionel had to finish 3 of them.

I was too full to order any mains. Thank god Lionel ordered the ramen coz i was craving for soupy stuff.

i stole a fews mouths of soup.... although Lionel said its the same soup as Ajisen, i kinda found Ajisen's nicer.

For dessert, Lionel scanned thru the menu to look for this particular dessert that comes with corn flakes. He said he really likes the corn flakes... its some strawberry ice cream etc dessert...

a closer up of the corn flakes....

i had the mont blank parfait...

CHECK OUT THE LAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I was boosting to Lionel saying my mont blank parfait is more wu hua ..haha... mine has got green tea ice cream, vanilla ice cream, red bean paste, chestnut paste, corn flakes, mochi and some green tea jelly! The mochi and the green tea jelly is SUPER DUPER UBER DELICIOUS in my view. heh..
