Ajisen

Lunch, i had my dear darling Xinhui to accompany me. Im sure gonna miss her when she starts her new job!! We had ajisen today!

i went for the same old boring (BUT I LIKE) ton toro ramen. Xinhui went for the dried teriyaki chicken ramen...


as usual, we went for the set which costs only 90 cents more (ajisen really koes how to do business). This time round i went for the mixed sushi while xinhui went for the fried white fish...



my ton toro ramen is of coz good.. otherwise i wun keep ordering it. But i seem to haf difficulty getting the message across that i dun want it overcooked. they always take the instructions yet come back wif a back of overcooked, over crispy pork and den i hafta paiseh-ly tell them to redo it.

Xinhui's noodles felt a little too dry for my liking.

the mixed sushi was ok, the white fish today is damn nice! i'd say its inconsistency in standards but really, its really nice today. the batter is not to thick, its slightly crispy while the fish inside is thick and soft. Yummy!!
