Michelangelo's

After the Shanghai Tang International Polo tournament was the asado party (held at the Singapore Polo Club). I didn't know what's asado but Esther said its an argentina bbq where they typically would haf lamb...

the lamb does look good. and the fact that it was polished off the fastest should be a good indicator (i dun take lamb).

the beef...

grilled....

the beef was SO GOOD! slighty charred on the outside and nicely marinated with sea salt. Mmm...

the chicken wings.....

which was pretty good as well.

the catering for today was by Michelangelo's...

some egg plant dish...

some onion and tomato dish...

another dish..

didn't try the three dishes above but they, together with the other dishes look very appetising.

the pasta salad...

which was pretty good.

the rice...

which was also quite nice as well.

roasted potatoes....

nice.

and the pastas...

a closer view...

i can't identity the different pastas except for the lasagne. I do recall one of it had mushrooms though. anyway, all 3 pastas were the cheesy creamy type and they were all yummilious. I koe couple days back i did mention Purple Sage would be my choice for catering, now i find myself caught in between. haha

desserts wise, Michelangelo's was the clear winner between the two though... they had tiramisu......

and it was kick ass tiramisu, not just any ordinary tiramisu. It was so so so so so good! even better den the one from Da Paolo which Lionel recommended. I loved it!

and if that's not all, there was also brandy cherries....

yum!

god gave his blessings, the weather was good. the asado party was held beside the polo field with blazing fire torches brightening up the night...

it was a great bbq.
