Lionel and i were trying to think of a place to eat when we both recalled at the same time, that beef rendang place along killiney road! We took a short walk over and we were actually unsure of which shop it is coz we both cant remember the shop name of the shop front.
But as we passed by the place, Lionel recognised the place and we went into the shop to confirm..
yes, this must be it.
Its Warong M.Nasir....
the entrance...
the counter...
the interior ...
the seating area....
our orders....
these items totalled up to around $24, working out to around $12 per person. I'd say its not very worth it.
The rendang....
ok, honestly its the first time i'm having rendang so i don't really know how its supposed to taste like but after trying it this time, i think aside from knowing what rendang tastes like, i'll also know that i won't particularly like rendang. (yeah, i koe, very long sentence.. hope u didnt get lost along the way..haha). The beef, was not tender or juicy (maybe coz i like tender juicy beef). But according to Lionel, beef rendang are generally very well cooked so they are usually not tender or juicy.
and before i go on i gotta tell u first that i duno the names of the items (im pretty bad with names of malay dishes).
The curry vegetable...
the curry vegetable was not bad. I quite liked it! Its tasty, not too spicy and the vegetables are well cooked so they are soft. I like them this way!
the chilli/tomato chicken...
i put chilli/tomato coz they looked like chilli but tasted abit like tomato yet its a lil spicy.. heh... the chicken tasted pretty ok as well.
the tapioca leaves....
the taste was good but the leaves.. some taste like they are undercooked.
