Jumbo Seafood

Dinner today is at Jumbo Seafood Waterfront (at singapore indoor stadium) because i've got a $50 discount voucher!

We ordered a seafood bacon roll...

the bacon taste was pretty strong. The inside was some .. hmm.. those fishcake like thingy...

nothing exceptional and didnt like the fact that the inside was some fishcake like thingy.

and the fried you tiao...

not particularly nice.

duck served both ways....

one way is somewhat like a salad....

its served cold, the duck meat cut into strips with cucumber and mango strips.

the crispy duck skin....

the duck skin was... Ooooo.. mama mia~! Yummyilicious!

and we had xiang ba bang (forgot the name in english) with asparagus....

a closer up view...

this is my first time trying xiang ba bang so i was pretty curious about how it'll taste. It was ok, doesnt particularly have a very strong taste. We had wanted the sashimi but Andy doesnt have raw things. The asparagus was pretty good though. Big and fresh. Yum~

and we had to order filling items. Since there were quite a few of us, while ordering i decided to order one small fried rice and one small fried noodles to share for more variety and i thought some would want rice and some would want noodles.

The fried rice was served first and they rest didnt know that i ordered both fried rice and noodle. They thought i had only ordered noodles and the small fried rice looked like a very big plate. So i said i thought just now some wanted rice... den all of them in unison said they didnt.. so i bo bian, i had to admit.. " its me, i want fried rice ".

and they all laughed at me.

Seafood fried rice....

a closer up view...

the seafood fried rice was pretty yummy in my view. It was quite tasty and the shredded cabbage added crunch to the rice.

and for noodles, ordered the fried hk noodles upon the server's recommendation....

it was not bad and again, the cabbage added crunch.

Last but not least, whats a seafood dinner w/o seafood?

We had chilli crab! Well, technically, they had chilli crab coz much as i love crabs, i didnt wana dirty my hands, especially not with a newly done up manicure (hee).. also, the side i like of crabs is the legs, not the claws and the legs side requires alot of digging.

but i did haf a few man tou! Love them!

the chilli crab...

the chilli sauce was pretty good.. especially yummy to dip the man tou in!

The overall meal came up to about $188.88 (nice figure eh?) after the $50 discount.

Today is also actually kinda Andy, Deanie and Kendi's birthday dinner. Andy and Deanie treated for the meal. Thank cute!
