Seah Street Deli

Met up with Jiahui at Seah Street Deli for dinner. It was freezing cold so we took seats outside.....

the seatings outside...

we shared a free flow iced lemon tea (ard $5 plus)..

nice iced lemon tea (yes my darling Lea, the kind u'll like).

and we shared a tornedo salad ($16.50)....

been craving for this and the blue cheese topping! Yummy!

Jiahui wants the nachos ($6.95)..

Portion was pretty big. The nachos were pretty tasty (saltish, i like) by itself even w/o the sauces (cheese, sour cream and guacamole). Portion was quite big.

And i recommended Jiahui the Beef Pot Roast ($16.50)....

the stew this time tastes better den the previous visit. Oh, and even the service today was significantly much much better den my previous visit.

and actually, the above was more den enuff to get us VERY FULL. But because of the 50% off (thanks to the feed at Raffles card), we unconsciously over-ordered.

The seah street cheese burger ($12.95)....

done medium rare...

not bad but will not order it again. We basically only finished the beef patty.

and erm... the desserts simply looked too delectable to be missed.

u dun believe me?

u see....

the key lime pie looks so special and alluring.. the apple tart doesnt look like apple tart (haha!) and the brownie looks like its such a delight with all that nuts and chocolates on top!

and more!

the blueberry cheesecake was the only one that i thot looked not attractive enuff (oopz, im judging food by their covers.. lol).. the bread butter pudding also looked quite good and the maple and pecan tart looked like its caramelised (i duno if theres such a word but u get the idea)... yummy...

and jiahui basically loses all fences of defence when it comes to dessert. haha.. so she chose the bread butter pudding....

unlike the display, its actually topped with lotsa rasins as well and its served with warm vanilla sauce. The texture is really good. Its quite yummy really. A pity we were too full and wasted alot of food. Not just this pudding but also the other items.

We were so full we had to wave the white flag...

.. to surrender!
