Papi

Met up with dar for dinner. We went Papi!

i've never really dined in at Papi. Previous times were either take away or sitting in when the foodies were having dinner. So today's kinda a first.

We were first served some complimentary bread....



served with olive oil. Pretty nice bread cubes with cheese on top.

We shared a calamari ($12)

its been a very long while since i had calamari. Its partly because i grew out of love for calamari ... mainly attributed to the many lousy calamari around (dry and hard! eeekz)...BUT, Papi's calamari is good! Its tender and bouncy! lol... NICE! I'll most probably miss this item!

and we shared a Aurora ($15)....



Its farfalle (bow shaped pasta) with crab meat in creamy tomato sauce. The crab meat was hidden below the pasta...



but portion of the crab meat was not alot. It wasnt miserable but it wasnt alot. Would be better if there was more. Taste wise it was ok... not bad just not fantastic.

Also shared a Di Parma ($18)...



its basically a parma ham pizza.

Dar liked it as well! She said its really nice.. i really like their parma ham pizza!
