leoie ordered some mango ba wang thingy.. haha.. the cup turned out to be smaller den expected.. diane had the yuan yang... i had a milk tea float... damn good!
we ordered xiao long bao to share...
the skin is thicker as compared to most but its pretty alright. the meat inside is a big round ball dat tastes like salted fish meat paste... but overall its alright.
shared a butter wif condensed milk thick toast....
the one at xin wang is much nicer.. this one the sides are not crispy enuff, the butter and condensed milk serving is also not as generous as xin wang.
also had a crispy squid....
the crispy squid is SO GOOD! the batter is crispy wif chiili and garlic and salt on top... the squid is fresh and texture is great!
also had a HK braised chicken and beancurd...
the beancurd is nice.. the peanuts are also very nice.. cooked yet still crunchy. didnt try the chicken though but from the sauce, it should be good.
for mains, i ordered the Gold Medal Macau Baked ($14.80) Famous Porkchop with Tomato Saue, Portuguese chicken chop and seafood with cream mushroom sauce.....
its like a 3 in one baked rice.
the tomato sauced pork chop was ok but the pork chop was good.. the pork was tender and bouncy!
the portuguese sauce, i found it alright but diane liked it. the chicken was nice and tender.
the seafood sauce was alright... seafood portion was good also.
Diane ordered a fish baked rice....
Which was only ok.. she found the taste too chinese. i kinda prefer Central's fish baked rice.
Leoie had a luncheon meat and egg instant noodles....
leoie and i found it to be pretty good (the soup is salty enough) but diane found it just so so.
Diane treated for dinner... thank cute~
