After dinner, decided to head for desserts. They wanted to try Tong Shui the hong kong style cafe thats opposite the road (Liang Seah)....
Tong Shui...
Like the outlet at Zion road, the main colours of the place is bright pink and green...
I gotta first clarify that i DID NOT recommend this place. I just didn't disagree to dine there. haha...
I did recommend the peanut butter and condensed milk toast though...
they all agreed its really nice with the crispy edges by the side.
For desserts, we ordered....
Kendi had a mango tutti frutti.. im not a mango lover so im biased but the rest also said it doesnt taste nice. We kinda miss Jing jing's mango dessert.
I had a beancurd and ginko nuts. The sweetness level was just ok, the beancurd skin is all soft and pretty smooth. The ginko nut is not sweet at all so its not nice. Overall its very average, nothing splendid.
Dar had the black sesame tang yuan in ginger tea. Dar found the ginger tea too sweet, i found it alright. As for the tang yuan, i personally think its the best tang yuan i've ever tasted....
The skin is SO SO SO SO soft. SO SOFT. SO GOOD. But loh gong zai and dar dar both said they prefer bedok 85's tang yuan so i guess its a personal preference. I mean, i used to like bedok 85's one as well but to me, this one is so much better in terms of the skin. Just really smooth and soft.
Loh gong zai ordered a iced coffee tea...
He said it didn't taste very nice as he said he has tasted better and he said its abit too sweet. I found the taste quite alright though.
