Shin Kushiya

dear dear gave me the option of going to shin kushiya or swiss culture for my birthday dinner. Initially, i chose swiss culture but i saw a mild disappointed look on dear dear... it was more apparent when she started describing to me how good the noodles from shin kushiya are so i told her i honestly like the idea of shin kushiya too coz was there once wif ah yee and uncle sq and i remember their grilled skewers are yummy! so it was shin kushiya we went!



we were first served the appetisers of the fresh vege and the miso paste....



its so good! i asked for another 2 servings! hehe.. this dish reminds me of Kazu .. i miss Kazu!

we shared the fish roe.....



big big ones.. its nice! Chris finished most of it. haa

its actually chilled egg in soya sauce.. u're supposed to glurp it all down, i like it!

the items were generally GOOD. Yum yum! the foie gras was nice as well.. Chris and myself like the bacon wrapped oysters but dear dear doesnt. Chris loves the mushrooms! the rest of the items were also nice.

i like how runny their eggs are... its not bad though not fantastic.

dear dear managed to eat her favourite duck noodles....





she really likes the smooth noodles with the sauce. its really quite good. we have a date to come back here again! haha.. they treated for the meal, thank cute!
