Meixin celebrated my birthday with me at Miharu....
the interior...
i've heard lots of raves about this place for like years but just never managed to get down to try the noodles. Meixin tried it with her hubby a few weeks back and also raved about it so i chose this place to do our dinner today.
we had gyoza...
didnt find it exceptional. it was ok but not enough to warrant me to reorder it upon my next visit.
the braised pork....
looks ultra fatty but doesnt taste very fatty... meixin quite likes it. i find it ok, prefer the ones from Ramutama.
when mojo overheard dat i was going to Miharu for dinner, she strongly recommended the cold noodles so i ordered the cold noodles....
the noodles are chilled and comes with a bowl of hot soup. Mojo describe until so very nice, she looked like she was salivating while she was describing. the chilled noodles was indeed VERY Q. not much of a taste except dat its got that very noodles taste... but the texture was just really good. dat is what makes me miss it.
the soup dat came wif it was a little sour wif lotsa corn and char siew inside. didnt find the soup impressive. the char siew also isnt the type dat i like.
meixin ordered the tonkotsu ramen...
the charsiew....
love the soup! noodles were pretty good as well. but overall, no wow factor.
meixin treated for the meal.. thank cute!
