actually i was still craving for La Mei Zi's meatballs and luncheon meat... but Chin Huat looks like it has got quite a lot to offer as well! and i mean a lot a lot.....
its got quite a section of display of meats in different seasoning, like seoul garden. We a bit sua ku, we later realised they have it because they haf a section where u can take the meat to the chefs there to get them to grill it for you. So we actually took the big chunks of meat and cooked it in steamboat.. haha.. but it actually tastes good. lol

basically u dun get a choice. its just clear soup and spicy... and its apparent from the pic above dat we are only interested in the clear soup.. at least for fishy and me that is.. the level of spicy soup is so low because we simply did not touch it and it kinda evaporated.. haha
the good thing about chin huat's steamboat is also how it has got a cooked food section.. with salads, fried shishamo...

and there was also curry chicken and braised pork which i didnt manage to take pictures of.. and generally food tastes pretty good.
and from the bbq section, we had squid....

just as we were in the midst of steamboat, one server came to us and spoke to fishy...
Server: " hi mdm, you want live prawns and crab? " (she pointed to this mini artificial pool of fresh seafood)
fishy: " i want i want! "
server: " you want... you must pay first "
HAHAHHAHAHAHA... kindly note that the server was speaking in a non local tone.. she is most probably a foreign worker but it was just hilarious.. we felt like she just snooked fishy. hahaha
den it did not end... fishy who was busy eating went.. " ok ok, later later ".. and fishy continued eating...
Server: " you must pay early, if not wait you very full " as she did a rub tummy action
HAHAAAA...
anyway, server was right.. when we finally claimed our live crabs and prawns, we were really pretty full.....
chin huat also has a dessert section....
so pretty! so many colourful marshmallows! but we didnt eat coz when i almost took, peishan waved to me and secretly told me she saw flies on top of them =(
but there were mini cakes and cream puffs...
the cheesecake was really good! best ah!
