Dinner with Lionel and Crabby at Baikohken along North Canal Road....
a very authentic japanese place.. with very cute, friendly and nice japanese chefs...
Crabby and myself shared a cold ramen ($14)...
the charsiew was very tender, the noodles were really Q! in comparison to Noodle Ken and Miharu, its comparable although i think Ken's one is better. we added an egg ($1).. runny egg yolk.. very good!
Lionel had a charsiew don ($4)...
darn good! and so cheap! the charsiew pork is so soft and tastes like tuna actually. and its not very fat. the mayo sauce is somewhat chilled and the rice is warm.. the spring onions also add a texture... very nice!
crabby and i also shared a shoyu half portion ramen ($8)..
it was pretty good as well. the charsiew was still not overly fat yet still very soft. Crabby and i liked it. We're definitely coming back here for lunches.
