Lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.
food wise, we ordered a lot! we ordered a starter combination dat the menu said can feed 4! it includes.. Avocado Eggrolls, Spinach and Cheese Dip, Pot Stickers, Summer Rolls, Quesadilla, Corn Cakes, Buffalo Blasts and Calamari.
and when it arrived....
wow wow wow!
Quesadilla and Corn Cakes...
the Quesadilla is pretty good. Kaizhi likes the cheesy portion. the corn cakes are not bad either.
cant recall what these two are...
but the one on top tastes a bit like gyoza. kaizhi really liked it mainly coz of its sauce.
Vietnamese spring summer rolls and spinach and cheese dips...
the vietnamese spring rolls were really good. in fact much better den those we've tried in singapore. the spinach cheese dips were pretty nice too. i can just eat it on its own!
calamari and avocado egg roll...
the calamari is really good. i miss eating calamari! their avocado roll was also pretty ok though not fantastic.
and of course, we couldnt finish. and in fact, after the appetisers, we could barely start on our main courses.
for the mains, i had a steak diana which the server recommended....
done medium rare...
probably mentioned before, the portions here are really huge. there were huge medallion pieces of beef. it was really tender and pretty good in that mushroom red wine sauce. too bad i was too full and could barely finish it.
kaizhi went for the salmon...
it was cooked in some barbeque sauce. i found that a bit too sweet for my liking.
honestly, after trying their main courses twice, while its fine.. i am quite disappointed. i was under the impression that their food is fabulous.. totally delectable till its almost out of this world but sadly, its not. its.. just ok.
their cheesecake however, is excellent! and after this meal, we were too full to go for desserts. we decided to shop around a bit before heading back to pack the cheesecake home.
