Onion soup ($8)...
was told that Joey really digs onion soup. He didnt think much of their onion soup though. I felt that their onion soup has quite strong liquor taste. Its not too bad in my view just not very onion-soupish. haha..
fries that came with one of the mains...
their fries are not bad.
their white wine mussels ($23)...
the mussels are good. especially the white wine sauce which tastes like soup. i like! Lionel, i think u'll like this!
and Joey was telling us there is a way to eat the mussels....
thats to use the shell of the first one to pick up the next one den use it to pick the meat out!
for mains we also shared a hoegaarden cod ($26)....
the name itself interested I-shan and myself! The cod turns out to be really good. The cream sauce was not really gerlard and the cod was not gerlard! The three of us really liked it.. i especially liked their vegetables as well.. really soft and good.
the boeuf brabancon ($21)...
which effectively is beef stew....
Taste wise its quite alright but the meat has quite a bit of tendon making it not as easy to eat.
Sausage and Stoemp ($19)...
also pretty good sausages with a nice mashed potato.
