Eden Cafe is actually operated by Clement, owner of the former Helio Cafe. I've not visited since their shift and have honestly kinda forgot about the place until Clement asked Lea about me. hehe.... but i'm back!

the interior of Eden...

While waiting for Jeffrey and Orella to arrive, Clement let me sample one of their tea... called the Relax tea which is supposed to relax our mind....

food wise, we ordered a chilli crab pasta ($15.90)...

it was pretty alright. the crab taste was not very strong, its a little sweet.. jeffrey said it reminded him of mee rebus.

Honey Mustard Chicken ($14.90)...

firstly, i liked the fact that they used red wine sauce on the side salad. jeffrey didnt like it though coz he doesnt like the wine taste. The honey mustard chicken was alright.

Saffron Cream Sauce Salmon ($16.90)...

this dish is impressive! its simply great!!! firstly the saffron sauce is good! the salmon's doneness is just right! check out the colour...

Clement was telling us its Tasmania salmon. The portobello mushroom was huge and juicy! so scrumptious!

for desserts, i've always known dat Clement is very good with desserts and Jeffrey and Orella love desserts! but i didnt expect them to end up ordering so many! haha

first up was the chocolate ganache ($10.90)....

its really good! its served chilled... very chocolatey... i likey~

next was the ginger creme brulee....

very good as well! Jeffrey loves creme brulee and he thinks this is really good.

Molten Chocolate Cake ($12)...

with the chocolate oozing out and the apricot on top...

the apricot is soaked in rum. this molten chocolate cake is really good! its sweet by itself and i cant really believe Clement said he doesnt add sugar to his chocolate cakes!

Hibiscus Cheese Filo ($9.90)....

i remember having Clement's Filo below and i love the filo! i didnt like today's filo pastry as much as the previous time i had it but it was still good.

and if u think we had alot, we had more! Jeffrey and Orella liked the molten chocolate cake so much dat they ordered another one and requested to have it topped up with ice cream!

this one wasnt as hot as the previous one actually. The previous one was better.

but overall i'd think Clement's efforts at making desserts are really admirable. He really makes very good desserts. Through conversations you can also tell that he puts in alot to read up and look for fine ingredients in his dishes and desserts.

and it was so cool when he brought this to show me....

ostrict egg! he said he's planning to use this to develop another new dessert. I'm definitely bringing my friends back for the salmon and desserts!
