the interior of the place....

The menu....

loh gong zai ordered Rivella.. apparently its some kinda Swiss soft drinks! haha

dar and andy zai arrived just in time for some of our orders to arrive.

We ordered a cheese fondue.....

their cheese fondue is a mixture of swiss cheese and white wine, served with baguette bread. Its good! In comparison, we generally find their cheese fondue better den Swiss Culture's. The white wine also leaves an aftertaste. Its good! Costs $24 per person, minimum 2 person so we ordered for 2 person to share.

Steak tartar....

comes in serving of 70 grams ($17) and 120 grams ($24). Meina, are u drooling at this already? Well, i found the taste alright. Loh gong zai didnt like it. He generally didnt like the idea dat its raw and cold. haha... the rest found it ok but didnt quite appreciate the taste either.

Elyn who had previously been here before highly raved about their rosti especially after i raved about Checker's hashbrowns....

their rosti is definitely better den Marche's but i find it pretty on par on Checker's .. and erm.. haha.. Checker's is cheaper =p

and also, ordered the pork knuckles....

its SO SO SO SO SO SO GOOD! The skin is so crispy! and there isnt alot of fats.. if any, its removable. and the meat! Its tender, soft and juicy~~~~ *drools*

I've not had much pork knuckles before.. i koe Lionel had told me that Paulaner's one is good. Never tried that so cant do a comparison. But i think i've tried Marche's version some years ago and it pretty much.... sucked. After that i stayed away from pork knuckles.. Stammtisch's one won me over! Costs $29!

Dar also ordered a Grilled mixed sausage platter ($35)...

i think its very pricey for 4 sausages! The white coloured one was not bad. the 2 thin ones in the middle were pretty nice... the nicest one (agreed by everyone) is the thick piece with the sides cut open. The skin is bouncy (duno if its appropriate to describe it like dat) and the meat was tasty and juicy.... mmmmmMMMm!

they also ordered a cordon bleu ($26)....

its pork escalope, stuffed with ham and cheese....

found it alright. i mean its not bad ... just dat it didnt wow me like the pork knuckles. haha

desserts wise, Kendi and dar wanted the apple strudel....

didnt impress me.. but den again, maybe coz im generally not an apple strudel person.. im an apple crumble person. haha

i asked Kendi how she found the apple strudel, she said she didnt find it very good but shes not sure if its because the strawberry dessert was too good. hahahahha!

and yes, their hot strawberry with whipped cream and ice cream dessert was WOW WOW WOW!

i've been looking forward to this dessert after reading this blog.. it looked like a much bigger bowl from that blog... haha.. Lionel knows how much i was looking forward to try this....

its sheer heaven!!!!!!!!!

theres whipped cream, ice cream, warm strawberries (previously soaked in wine) and almond flakes.....

simply fabulous! lil bee, i bet u bowl will like this also! bring her there!!

the whole bill came up to around $225 (i think). Definitely wana revisit this place!
