Hamoru Japanese Restaurant

after the event, went for a quick meal with lea at the japanese place at Suntec's food republic japanese stall....

oh yes, my sushi craze still runs deep in me.

ordered a swordfish and a seasonal mackerel sushi....

lea was initially skeptical to try coz she usually only eats salmon but after she tried the swordfish and mackerel, she went.. Mmmm.. this is yummy!!

we also ordered salmon sashimi...

thick fresh slices! so good!

as she browsed the menu, we suddenly saw one item and we went... " Pi dan tofu!!!! " ever since i introduced the akashabu shabu one to her, she loves this dish!

this place's one is a slightly bigger piece of tofu. the paste wise, Shabu Shabu's one is stronger in taste so it has more of the wow factor. but this place's one is also quite ok.

we also shared a Shiok maki!

no kidding! they really call this the shiok maki! this is shuping's absolute favourite and it was actually shuping who introduced this place to us.

the shiok maki has roasted salmon, fish roll and the inside is avocado and eel. damn good!

as lea ate, she kept going.. mmm... this is so good, most satisfying meal ever!

we both particularly like the taste of the roasted salmon.
