Sano Bar

after the games, we headed to the newly reopened sanobar at the pier....

the place was really crowded. we managed to get seats outside.

sanobar serves lebanese cuisine and the both of them were very excited when i told them about the place coz they love lebanese food....

we first had a fried feta cheese in filo pastry...

this dish came somewhat different from what i visualised. i thought it would be big filo pastry with melted cheese... didnt expect it to turn out to be small spring rolls. it tasted ok nevertheless.

ishan was very excited about ordering the filafel....

the inside...

its actually a mixture of a few different type of beans.. the texture actually didnt taste vegetarian. it tasted like it had a bit of meat when it actually doesnt. not too bad.

we also shared a beef kebab....

the beef cubes were ok but the garlic mayo sauce that came wif it was super good. we all loved it.

we also had a chicken kebab...

it doesnt look chicken, doesnt taste chicken. in fact it tastes mutton. i still refuse to believe its chicken. and so.. obviously i didnt enjoy this dish.

after the few dishes, we were not really satisfied so we kinda decided to go for a rather safe option. we had a hummus..

the hummus was not too bad.

Joey treated. thank cute!

Incidentily, I was at Al Hamra a couple of days back and I had that filo pastry with cream cheese; and also the falafel which I bit into and wondered if there was meat because of the texture.
