Jalapeno's Pepper

Celebrated dear dear's birthday for her at the singapore flyer!

i took up the Jalapeno's Pepper dine and ride package....

i had wanted to take up the bistro senso one ($69) but it is so expensive! Jalapeno's Pepper one is slightly more reasonably priced at $35.90. It comes with the soup of the day, main course, dessert, beverage and 1 flyer ticket, pointed out to me by the chipmunk who visited it over the weekend.

the restaurant was quite empty when we got there.

soup of the day was pumpkin soup...

its pretty thick and smooth. not bad.

for mains, dar dar chose the chicken primavera...

it was quite nicely cooked.. i merely didnt like the fact that its chicken breast meat. heh

i went for the vegetable baked rice...

i think it is quite good. the sauce was good and so was the cheese.

the interior of the place... very bright and colourful...

dessert was the hazelnut mango roulade...

didnt find it impressive.

and because i don't take mango, i requested for a change and they said they'll give me ice cream. didnt expect them to top up the ice cream with something else...

we were like wondering what the red substance below was. it turned out to be some raspberry like frizzy drink.

our flyer ride!

welcome to Singapore Flyer...

actually, all in all, it was quite *yawns* .. seriously.. and the gettting up onto the ride part, i felt it was quite dangerous. the whole capsule is still moving as you step up.

also, maybe its not wise to take the flyer at night because while the night lights are up, its hard to take a nice picture of the person and the scenery because when you use flash, you cant see the background. When you don't use flash, you cannot see the person.
