Black Canyon

One of my appointments today was at Katong's Black Canyon so i did a quick lunch there. Crabby joined me.

Crabby had a set lunch of the salmon steak.

Corn soup...



the corn sweet was relatively decent.

the salmon steak with the salmon specially requested to be done medium rare...



the salmon itself was good but i really didnt like the sauce. It was too sour, too lemonish in a certain sense.

i had the american fried rice because it looks too good in the menu. speaking of which, their menu is the kind which is full of pictures and a delight to view. hehe

the drumstick looks nicer in the menu though. the fried rice was ketchup fried rice, it was not bad. the thin slices of ham taste a bit like luncheon meat, it was quite nice.

but what truly got us enticed about this place is their drinks, particularly their coffee. There were so many choices on the menu and they all look so good.

I went for the black canyon iced coffee...



its so good. its quite smooth and thick.

even crabby thinks so..



crabby went for their iced tea and its also pretty good.
