i brought Kaizhi to Eden because i know she will like the desserts here.
for mains, Kaizhi ordered the chicken with spicy mango salad....
Kaizhi said the chicken is not bad, rather tender and flavoursome with the herbs used. I didnt find the chicken very tender.
i was nian nian bu wang-ing their salmon....
its really good. Portion is good, doneness is just right! Its very important for salmon to not be overcooked. The sauce was also good and the portobello mushroom was heavenly! BIG AND JUICY! YUM YUM!!
for desserts, we shared the chocolate ganache....
its served chilled...
its pretty good! Rather consistent with my previous visit.
the molten chocolate cake...
sadly, its not as good as my previous visit. in fact its quite bad. When it first arrived, it wasnt crispy or dry on the outside so we requested for it to be redone. The person probably reheated it and the end result was an even soggier cake. It doesnt have the oozing sensation at all and at $10 - $12 a piece, i'd say its very disappointing. Maybe because Clement wasnt around and the staffs were not very experienced... but its supposed to be way better. the result was us not finishing it and i felt bad because i wanted so much for Kaizhi to try it. i really think she would haf liked it.
