had lunch at Say Cheeze Cake (Great World City, level 1)...
they've got really comfy plush sofas...
food wise, i found myself very torn between ordering the laksa chowder and the lobster bisque. I've always loved lobster bisque and not much of a laksa person. But from the menu, i saw that their laksa chowder is served in a coconut! Looks sooooo interesting! Yet i was worried its gimmicky and like i said, im not really a laksa person..
i end up still going for the laksa chowder ($8.90)....
LOOKS GOOD RIGHT?
a closer up view...
the soup wif the coconut pulp...
its really quite good! the line of seafood on top is fresh and nicely barbequed. yummy!
the soup has a light laksa fragrance ... and it gets even better towards the end when i scooped the pulp of the coconut and the juice adds to the soup.. its really yummy!
for mains, i ordered a Baked Salmon Risotto ($14.90)...
a closer up view...
its really good as well! But it doesnt taste like risotto. its more like baked rice. But not complaining because the salmon is so darn good!
LOOK!
the salmon is nicely done, not overcooked... u can still see the colour of the fresh salmon! its really good!
the rice isnt fantastic but is considered decent.
and from the name, you most probably already know cheesecake is their speciality. I was also wondering if i should get their 'limited edition' pulau hitam cheesecake or apple crumble cheesecake or baileys cheesecake... they've got quite a variety!
i ordered the baileys cheesecake...
its not too bad but didnt find it fantastic. i'm more impressed by the soup and my salmon rice.
