this must have been a place where many people (especially ladies), upon walking past would wana check out and i've been meaning to check out this place for the longest time.

The whole ambience is like so classy and victorian .. everything was just so chic!

but we realised that the cakes are soooo expensive. Each piece is charged at like $8 or $9 kinda thing!

she gave us 2 cubes of sugar each and Lea felt that it looks so miserable if i just take 4 small cubes of sugar in the bowl so she stacked them up....
we ordered a pot of tea each. Lea had the Majestic Queen which was basically just like english breakfast (but we both like english breakfast actually) and i was recommended some Toffee duno wat tea which the server said was not on the menu.....
each pot was ard $8 - $9.50 as well. Really expensive! The toffee tea was slightly sweet ... its not bad but personally i preferred majestic queen.
and we shared a cake (server recommended us Chocolate Melt) with ice cream. The ice cream was hazelnut.....
doesnt it look very pretty? simple but elegantly decorated with a pink rose petal on top. and the ice cream is so good! Lea and i loved it!

with strawberries by the side and its got macadamia nuts on top of the cake. part of the cake is somewhat like molten chocolate.. and the other time is where there is still the cake texture. Its not bad but the price is scary .. costs $19.50!
there was a server who was recommending their cookies to the table by the side....

Tried asking a couple of times for the server to come over to introduce the cookies to us as well but first time they forgot, second time they were too busy so eventually we had to leave.

The second last picture is hilarious, the one with the server showing the couple the cookies. Observe the facial expressions, the lady's like giddy from all the "cute" and "classy" things whilst the guy is probably thinking "crap crap.. look at these insane prices, I have to take up a second mortgage now" Hahahaha!
This is another one of those tai tai places. ;)
