gives a very americian pub feel. I quite like the whole ambience.
The menu....
food wise, i had wanted to order the beer butt chicken. But too bad it has to be ordered 3 days in advance.
seeing that they seem quite famous for their burgers as well, Cynthia ordered the Blooie's Sloppy Chilli Burger ($15)...

its described in the menu as a grilled 180g all beef patty topped with cheese and loaded up with spicy chilli-con-carne
When cynthia was cutting the burger, she said.. " from the cut, it should be quite good and tender "
indeed the patty was not bad (but the best i've had is still @ Wild Rocket).. but the chilli was not quite to my liking. Maybe its a personal preference, the chilli is the dry indian chilli kinda taste. Cynthia didnt quite like it as well.
As for me, coz i was in the mood for chicken, i ordered their black pepper chicken ($18)....
its pretty good. Although the chicken cut is a bit thin but its thigh meat. The chicken is well marinated and the mushroom sauce was also pretty good. Goes very well with the black pepper chicken. Nice!
Cynthia was craving for desserts so we shared a brownie with ice cream....
the brownie was quite nice. mildy warm with lotsa nuts (i think its walnut and... hmmm.. duno wat other nuts).. i found it quite nice.. and it was a good finish to the dinner.
