we had lunch together at shi nai hk cafe located at b1 of far east plaza.
i had the beef brisket noodles...
its definitely not comparable to Hong Kong's one but its not too bad comparing singapore's standards.
alvin had a char siew rice....
the char siew was really good!! with some slight fatty parts, it was really tender!
we also shared some spud thingy...
served in a hot plate with some mash on top. it was not bad. the black pepper sauce was rather artificial but overall ok.
carrot cake...
was just so so...
